What do I believe?

I believe something has gone terribly wrong with the human race.

I believe we are a family, that has forgotten they are family.

I believe we know how we ought to live, but usually choose to live otherwise.

I believe we know we are meant to be greater than the sum of the atoms, from which are bodies are made.

I believe that there is a part of each of us that exists beyond what we can see, hear, taste, touch, and smell.

I believe we long for a purpose that is greater than our meager life-spans can account for.

I believe this longing is evidence that something greater than ourselves must exist.

  1. I believe life is tough and arguably not fair; moreover, a daily struggle either be internally or externally. Nonetheless, God has given all who dare to believe the ability to see the everyday drudgery of life as an opportunity to trust in Him, and to apply His promises as a filter to our struggles, so one can appreciate the nitty-gritty of our existence, which is to live a life with purpose. -JC
